Kathmandu: Actress and model Samiya Karki, who has appeared in dozens of music videos and showcased her acting talent in the television series Sita, has been signed for her first feature film. She will play the lead role in the upcoming movie Teen Tighre Kya Bigre, produced under the banner of Raghuji Films.
Karki, who portrayed Sita’s sister-in-law in the TV series Sita, is making her big-screen debut with the film. Expressing her excitement, she said she feels fortunate to begin her film career with a leading role and is looking forward to working alongside a new team and experienced artists.
The film will also mark the acting debut of Paritoshika Pant, daughter of renowned singer Anju Panta, who has been cast in another lead role. Popular singer Pashupati Sharma will also be seen in a leading role, making his feature film debut as well.
Directed by Amardeep Sapkota, Teen Tighre Kya Bigre is being made as a comedy entertainer. According to the director, the film will blend humor, entertainment, and contemporary social themes to offer audiences a fun-filled cinematic experience.
