Kathmandu – Just a day before the midnight shower of blessings on Maha shivaratri, the very first song, “Himani ye Sanu,” from the much-awaited movie Tandavam was actively released a day in advance of its proposed release of Fagun 09 (February 21). The song was released on Tuesday, coming on the heels of the widely appreciated teaser of the film, which started raising interest just a couple of days back. The song stars the lead pair Junim Ghatraraj and Sarina Magar. The lyrics and music for the song have been provided by Sushant Gautam, while Indrakala Rai renders the voice. Rai, who recently took part in the sixth season of Voice of Nepal, is already growing to fame with tracks like “Udayo man” and “Bardali” from her earlier songs. The production team is confident the song will get even more help from Rai’s increasing fame.
Tandavam marks the directorial debut of actor Junim Ghatraraj and stars Pushkar Gurung, Prem Subba, Sarina Magar, Anoj Pandey, Kamal Karki, and Gopal Katwal. A family-action thriller, the movie tells the story of a newly wed couple suddenly thrown into a series of unexpected events that dramatically change their lives while preparing for the arrival of their first child.
The movie has culled together producers Dhankumari Ghatraraj, Sabina Magar, and Manish Gautam under the auspices of Singhdevi Production in association with Visual Arts Studio. Cinematography for this particular film is by Hari Ghale Lama, with action direction by Samrat Basnet, music by Sushant Gautam, with background music from Kobid Bajra. The writing of the story, screenplay, and dialogues melded together from the pen of Aniruddh Atreya and Hussein.
