Early Life and Family
Bipin Karki was born in Bahuni, Morang District, Nepal. He had an early passion for acting and performed in stage plays with his brother Arjun Karki. His early exposure to the theatre world opened the doors to his future career as an actor.

In 2016, Bipin Karki wedded Reshma Katuwal, and they have a daughter together. Although he is now a celebrated figure in the Nepali film industry, he is still a committed family man.

Early Theatre Days
Bipin Karki started his acting career back in his hometown, Bahuni, where he was involved in several stage plays. He later shifted to Kathmandu, which is Nepal’s capital, with the aim of establishing a career in theatre.

Karki worked in Gurukul Theatre in 2005, which is Nepal’s most celebrated theatre. He performed in several plays under the direction of Sunil Pokharel, who is a mastermind of Nepalese theatre. Through performances in Gurukul, his talent was enhanced and he was appreciated by the audience.

After years of experience in theatre, Bipin Karki shifted to Nepali cinema. He made his entry onto the screens playing a supporting role as a gangster in the crime film Loot (2012), directed by Nischal Basnet. Though his role was minor, the massive success of the film catapulted Karki into industry spotlight.

In 2013, he played the lead role of Bindu in the action-drama Chhadke. This brought him more recognition and the chance to showcase his acting capabilities.

His second lead role was in Suntali (2014), where he played the role of the character Bidur. The film received negative reviews but provided Karki with more experience on the screen.
