
Kathmandu- The makers of the Nepali film ‘Hostel 3′, which was released in public screening last Friday, have announced its first-week box office collection. According to the publicly disclosed figures, the film has made a total gross collection of 4 crore 32 lakh until Thursday.
Director Sashan Kandel, who is also the operator of the production company Samman Entertainment, mentioned that the box office figures were based on the distributor’s DCR (Distributors’ Collection Report). “The report until Thursday shows a gross collection of 4 crore 32 lakh,” Kandel said.
According to him, the film has collected 2 crore 30 lakh in the Kathmandu Valley and 2 crore 2 lakh outside the Valley. The film was distributed by Kafiya Films, led by Govind Shahi, in Kathmandu, and by RR Films, led by Rohit Kattel and Ratna Shrestha, outside the Valley.
