Suman Koirala

Suman Koirala is a rising star in Nepal’s entertainment industry, best known for his work as a comedian, radio jockey (RJ), video jockey (VJ), and actor. Born on December 24, 1996, in Bhojpur, Nepal, he spent his early years there before moving to Itahari and later to Kathmandu to pursue higher education and a career in media. Suman’s passion for comedy began in his school days, where he often participated in local events. Professionally, he started as an RJ at Ramdhuni FM and later worked as a VJ at Arena Television, where he hosted a show called Golbheda. However, he rose to national fame after becoming a finalist in the first season of the Nepali reality show Comedy Champion, where his performances—especially his portrayal of the character “Daledai”—won over audiences across the country. His mix of humor, satire, and unique storytelling set him apart from other contestants and made him a household name. Following the show, Suman appeared in several telefilms and short movies, including “Ma Ta Marchu Ki Kya Ho” and “Love Circle,” and also launched his own YouTube channel to connect directly with fans.
