Ganga Sonam is a talented Nepali singer who rose to national fame after winning Nepal Idol Season 6. Hailing from the scenic and rural region of Indrawati Rural Municipality in Sindhupalchowk, she brought with her the raw beauty of folk music and the heartfelt passion of someone deeply connected to her roots. Throughout the competition, her soulful voice and authentic performances captured the hearts of audiences across the country, especially through standout renditions of songs like Khelaula Deuda and Sanghuri Bari. Following her win, she was awarded NPR 2.5 million and began her professional music journey with the release of the song “Gunaaso II”, composed by Lekhu Sahayatri and written by Pradeep Chapagain.
