The shooting of Saugat’s new film ‘Bob Die’ has begun

Kathmandu — The shooting of the new film “Bob Die” has begun. Presented by Roteping Entertainment and produced in collaboration with Shreeram Balaji Films, the film officially started filming last Monday with an auspicious ceremony. Filming began from Chandragiri, and the production team has scheduled a 45-day shooting plan. During this period, the shoot will take place around Kirtipur, Chandragiri, and nearby areas, according to the team.

The film is being directed by Prabin Shrestha. Having previously directed the film “Moksh”, Prabin is making a comeback to direction after 12 years. According to him, “Bob Die” is based on a story set in Kirtipur. Speaking about the film’s title, director Shrestha said, “Actually, ‘Bob Die’ means ‘Bob Dai’. In the Newari accent, ‘Dai’ is pronounced as ‘Die’, so we used that in the title.” Actor Saugat Malla will be seen in the role of Bob Dai.

Along with Saugat Malla, the film features Simran Pant, Santosh Pant, Bishal Pahadi, Pramod Agrahari, Kameshwor Chaurasiya, Kushal Pokharel, Yaman Shrestha, Krishna Bhakta Maharjan, Geeta Adhikari, Bhintuna Joshi, Nitesh Tandukar, Manoj Maharjan, and child actor Agrim Pandit.

The story of the film is written by Mainisha Gauchan and Prabin Shrestha. The chief assistant director is Tarkaraj Neupane, and the assistant directors are Dinesh Bahadur Raut. Cinematography is being handled by Shyam Tamang and his team, while editing will be done by Prabin Shrestha himself. Nirapesh Rupakheti is the casting director, and Surendra Maharjan is the production manager. The poster design is by Royal Bhimsen. Choreography for the film is by Sristi Maharjan, with Bivek Raj Bhatt and Ayush Dahal assisting in direction.

The film is produced by Rajesh Ghimire, Roshan Bhattarai, and Sunil Manandhar, with Rabindra Prajapati as the executive producer. The release date for the film has not been announced yet.
