Kathmandu — The production team of the Nepali film Eklo 1, which has been screening since the beginning of the English New Year 2026, has made changes following audience feedback.
After several viewers complained that they found parts of the film difficult to understand, the makers have decided to dub the English dialogues of the robot character into Nepali. According to executive producer Binod Subedi (Kshitij), audiences watching the film in cinemas will now hear those dialogues in Nepali.
“Many Nepali viewers said they could not understand the dialogues, so we decided to dub them into Nepali,” producer Kshitij told Artist Khabar.
In addition to this, Nepali subtitles have been added to all English dialogues in the film to make it more accessible to a wider audience.
Eklo 1 is directed by Pradeep Shahi and features performances by Pradeep Khadka, Kabita Nepali, Benisha Hamal, Sunil Thapa, Bijay Lama, among others.
