...

Kathmandu — The satirical song “Are Ho Neta Ji” from the upcoming film ‘Zero Degree’ has been released ahead of the movie’s filming schedule. The song was officially launched on Tuesday via the ‘Movies Digitainment’ YouTube channel.

The track features actor Vijay Baral and singer Ankit Babu Adhikari, with music also composed by Ankit Babu Adhikari and lyrics written by Yuvraj Kafle.

In the music video, Vijay Baral is prominently featured. The song humorously depicts the common scenario where citizens question political leaders about development and infrastructure, only to receive evasive answers, highlighting the “this is development” attitude in a satirical manner.

‘Zero Degree’ is being produced under the Meghauli Films banner. The film’s story is highly original: in a remote village untouched by social media, children living abroad return after the death of their parents, bringing a dead body in a deep freezer. The ensuing chaotic events are portrayed as a dark comedy, and according to the director, the story is not limited to the “fridge-in-the-village” plot but also attempts to highlight deeper social realities.

The film is directed and scripted by Aakash Baral and Sajan Kafle, with Rajan Bhusal serving as both writer and actor. Executive producer is Moti Karki.

Cinematography is handled by Nishal Paudel, editing by Chanas Magar, and art direction by Rick Ved. Poster and publicity design is by Royal Bhimsena (Trident Concept), and distribution will be managed by Kuber Cine Distribution.
