Kathmandu — The upcoming film Parvati, to be produced under the banner of Nita Dhungana Films, is gearing up to go on floors from Chaitra 24. The production team confirmed that preparations for the shoot have been completed. Along with this, the makers have also finalized the film’s release date.
Director Nita Dhungana, who is also leading the project, announced that Parvati is scheduled to hit theaters from Bhadra 12. “We are starting the shoot from Chaitra 24, and based on discussions with distributors and all concerned, we are preparing to release the film on Bhadra 12,” she said.
Dhungana herself will play the lead role in the film. The cast also includes Dipashree Niraula, Ashok Darji, Siru Bista, Radhika Kandel, Raj Pangeni Sharma, Rajendra Nepali, and Asha Poudel, among others.
The story and screenplay are written by Dhungana, while the script has been penned by Shivam Adhikari. Sudip Baral is the DOP, and Saroj Adhikari—dancer and director from Cartoonz Crew—joins the project as creative director for the first time.
The film is produced by Shankar Pandey, who also serves as the executive producer. Editing will be handled by Sahil Khan, and the official poster design is done by Royal Bhimsen.
