Film Journalists Association Nepal Forms Departments, Advisory Committee, and Welfare Structure

Kathmandu. Film Journalists Association Nepal has decided to form multiple departments, an advisory committee, and structures for welfare and professional security fund management. The decisions were made in a secretariat meeting held on 2083 Jestha 24 under the chairmanship of President Sameer Balami.

The meeting formed several departments within the association. The Promotion and Publication Department will be coordinated by Dhruv Lamsal, with members Milan Dhungana and Sanam Maharjan.

The Policy and Advisory Department will be led by Sandeep Sapkota, with members Raghunath Sapkota and Bishnu Subedi.

The Finance Department will be coordinated by Laxman Subedi, with members Suraksha Bhattarai and CP Jaishi.

The Women’s Department will be led by Gita Adhikari, with members Nisha Bajgai and Sarita Bharti.

The Training Department will be coordinated by Krishna Bhattarai, with members Kuber Dangol and Bishnu Sharma.

The Discipline Department will be led by Kuber Giri, with members Shilpa Adhikari and Sujan Shrestha.

The Program Department will be coordinated by Vishal Rai, with members Sushma Karki and Muna Dahal (Aisha).

The meeting also decided to form an advisory committee with the participation of former presidents of the association. The committee will be coordinated by former president Bidur Giri, with members Shanti Priya and Sandeep Sapkota.

Similarly, it was decided that the Welfare Fund and Professional Security Fund will be operated under the welfare fund account. The committee will be coordinated by Shanti Priya, with members Bidur Giri, Sandeep Sapkota, President Sameer Balami, and General Secretary Gopi Krishna Chapagain.

The meeting also assigned coordination responsibilities for different departments to office bearers and executive members. In the circular issued by General Secretary Gopi Krishna Chapagain, the Speaker Corner media coordination team has also been formed with designated responsibilities.
