Kathmandu: The makers of the highly anticipated Nepali film ‘Behuli’, slated for release on Bhadra 26, have officially unveiled its first promotional song, ‘Dilma Thau Chha’, in Kathmandu.
The folk-flavoured track was launched during a special press event held at FCube Cinemas, Chabahil, on Friday, where journalists were treated to the song’s music video on the big screen. The production team described the release as the film’s first musical offering aimed at building excitement ahead of its theatrical debut.
Penned and composed by the film’s producer and renowned music director Arjun Pokharel, the song features vocals by Anju Panta, Prashant Siwakoti, and Ravi Oad, with mixing and mastering by Naresh BBC.
The music video stars popular social media personality Paras Bam Thakuri, alongside Divya Rayamajhi, Sushant Karki, and Padam Tamang. Their on-screen chemistry and energetic dance performances, choreographed by Sion Shrestha, received positive reactions from attendees at the event.
Speaking at the launch, composer-producer Arjun Pokharel said the song was created with a fresh musical style to support the film’s promotional campaign. The track is now available on OSR Digital’s official YouTube channel.

The release of Dilma Thau Chha has further heightened anticipation for Behuli, which had already generated significant buzz with its first-look poster that went viral across social media and entertainment platforms.
Directed by Sashan Kandel and written by Madhav Sharma, Behuli features an ensemble cast including Paras Bam Thakuri, Divya Rayamajhi, Sushant Karki, Padam Tamang, Santosh Baniya, Sarita Giri, Bishal Pahari, Karma Lama, Deepak Gauli, Bimal Yadav, Abiral Shrestha, Sabin Kattel, and Samayara Thapa Magar.
Jointly presented by The Divine Music and Samman Entertainment, the film is presented by Arjun Pokharel, produced by Pratap Shamsher Rana, with Shankar Koirala and Ramesh Silwal serving as executive producers. Durga Kharel and Shishir Shrestha are co-producers, while Kosis Raj Kshetri and Samrat Kshetri are the line producers.
The technical team includes Narendra Mainali as director of photography, Bikash Dahal as editor, and Roshan Shrestha as action choreographer. The film will be distributed by Kafiya Films inside the Kathmandu Valley and Shree Venkatesh Entertainment across the rest of Nepal, while OSR Digital has acquired its digital streaming rights.
