Kathmandu – Actor and film journalist Saigrace Pokharel is set to make his debut as a lead actor in the upcoming Nepali film Phalano Dhiskano. He has been signed for the central role in the film, which will be directed by Rajkumar. The project was officially announced at a special event on Wednesday, where the film’s first-look poster was also unveiled.
The newly released poster features Saigres sitting sideways on the back seat of a scooter. A lanyard carrying the identity card of the Film Journalists Association of Nepal can also be seen around his neck, leading to speculation that he may be portraying a film journalist in the movie. However, the production team has not officially revealed any details about his character.
Speaking at the announcement event, director Rajkumar said the film’s title naturally emerged from the story itself. He added that while developing the script and considering various actors for the lead role, he found Saigres to be the perfect fit for the character.
Saigrace, meanwhile, chose not to disclose details about his role, saying audiences will discover the character when the time is right. He also expressed his excitement about taking on the lead role.
According to the production team, the remaining cast members will be announced in the coming weeks. The first-look poster has already generated curiosity and anticipation among audiences.
