‘Aa Bata Aama’ film’s auspicious inauguration held at Galeshwar Temple, shooting begins from Chitwan.

Kathmandu – Under the banner of Arya Entertainment, the film “Aa Bata Aama” (From ‘Aa’ to Mother) was officially inaugurated on Thursday at the Galeshwar Temple in Tanahun with traditional rituals. Around 200 young priests (Batuks) performed a fire ritual (havan) and puja to mark the film’s auspicious beginning. According to the production team, filming began the same day in Chitwan. Director Chandra Pant stated that the shooting schedule is expected to last about a month. The film will be shot in Chitwan, Kathmandu, and Hyderabad, India.

The main cast includes actor Pal Shah, South Indian actor Pradeep Rawat, Bipan Thapa, Simran Pant, and Usha Upreti. The inauguration event was attended by Pradeep Rawat, Gajit Bisht, Mao Tse Gurung, among others. According to the production team, “Aa Bata Aama” portrays an emotional story centered on the love and bond between a mother and her child.

The film is produced by Krishna Prasad Subedi, Dhruv Neupane, and Prakash Jung Kunwar, with Karan Singh as the executive producer. Cinematography (DOP) will be handled by Navaraj Upreti. Music will be composed by Koshish Kshetri, Babul Giri, and Thaneshwor Gautam, and the chief assistant director is Kuldeep Sharma.

The film is scheduled for nationwide release on Falgun 15, 2082 B.S. (February 27, 2026). According to the production team, international distribution rights for Australia and New Zealand have already been sold. Himaru Entertainment has acquired the rights for those countries, while RR Films will handle distribution within Nepal.
