Kathmandu — Actress Diya Pun, an avid mountaineering enthusiast, has successfully climbed Mount Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe. She reached the summit, which stands at an altitude of 5,642 meters above sea level, at 11 AM Nepal time on Tuesday. At the summit, she proudly hoisted the Nepali flag.
Currently residing in the UK, Diya is also a professional nurse. She has been funding her mountaineering adventures through savings from her job and earnings from films. Diya made her acting debut in the film Veer Vikram and has since appeared in movies such as Mr. Jholey, Dayarani, and Antim Sanskar. Her latest film Eklo is awaiting release.
Diya has embarked on a mission to climb the highest peaks of all seven continents. She has already summited Mount Everest, Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa, and Aconcagua in South America.
