Kathmandu — Actor Anmol KC is set to work in the lowest-budget film of his career. He will be acting in the movie Baatulo Jun without taking any remuneration. Not just him—his father, Bhuvan KC, will also be directing and acting in the film without pay.
While registering the film with the Film Development Board, its budget was stated to be 2.5 million Nepalese Rupees (approximately 25 lakhs).
Anmol KC is considered one of the highest-paid actors in Nepal. However, he is now participating in what is considered the most modestly budgeted project of his career. Baatulo Jun, directed by Bhuvan KC, is registered under Sunrise Pictures.
The film lists Jiya KC as its producer. She will bear the full financial responsibility for the project. Jiya has been in a live-in relationship with Bhuvan KC for a long time.
The shooting of Baatulo Jun is set to begin in the second week of Asar (June–July) in Chitlang, Makwanpur.
