Kathmandu – The team behind the film Mohar has announced the production of a new movie. On the first day of the New Year 2082 (Bikram Sambat), the new film titled Dhukdhuki was officially announced. Written and directed by Om Pratik, the film will be produced under the presentation of Filmmaker Pvt. Ltd. Chumban Jung Shahi will be serving as the producer.
It has been informed that the shooting of the film will begin after the Tihar festival. As of now, no actors have been finalized for the project. Previously, a film titled Dhukdhuki was produced by Binod Manandhar, with the screenplay and dialogues written by Om Pratik. Now, Om himself is moving forward to create a new film under the same title, Dhukdhuki.
The film Mohar, directed by Om and produced by Chumban Jung Shahi, is set to release on the 23rd of Shrawan (August 7, 2025). The production team has stated that filming for Dhukdhuki will begin after the release of Mohar.
