Kathmandu: A new film titled “Kina Lagchha Maya” is set to be produced under the banner of S&S Production. The movie, produced by Monu Khadka and directed by Kuver Tamang, will begin shooting in the first week of Asar (mid-June).
The cast includes Sanjit Bhandari, Richa Thapa, Janabi Basnet, Dhiren Shakya, Miss Pubi, Rajendra Khadki, Hiuwala Gautam, Sabin Bastola, Ravi Dangol, Gopal Dhakal, Niroj Khulal, Samrant Thapa, Bheg Pehari, Binod Dhakal, among others.
The lead role in the film will be played by Megh Subedi, who has already acted in dozens of music videos. The movie will revolve around a shadow-reel story and will feature screenplay and dialogue by Ramkaji Ghimire, cinematography by Ramsharan Upreti, music by Pushkar Sunuwar, choreography by Ramji Lamichhane and Abhi Wagle, and action direction by Rajendra Khadgi.
Arjun Prasad Pokhrel is the production controller. Ramsharan Koirala will serve as the chief assistant director, with Deepta Prakash Adhikari and Subas Gautam as assistant directors.
The film will be shot in various locations including Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Eastern Nawalparasi, and Mustang. Kina Lagchha Maya will tell the story of brotherhood, mutual responsibility, and sacrifice, while also highlighting important social issues.
