Benisha Hamal, born on July 25, 1992, in Chitwan, Nepal, is a well-known figure in the Nepali entertainment industry, recognized for her versatility as a radio jockey (RJ), television presenter (VJ), model, and actress. She began her career in broadcasting, working as an RJ for Kalika FM after securing the second runner-up position in a competition titled “Ideal RJ.” She later transitioned into television, working as a VJ on various Nepali channels including Channel Nepal, NTV Plus, and NTV. In 2009, she entered the modeling world, appearing in numerous television commercials for brands such as Yum Yum Noodles, Rio Juice, Nova Ice-cream, Wego Scooty, and others. She also gained popularity through her performances in over a hundred music videos, with her first being Sindhuli Ko by Paul Rai. Other notable appearances include songs like Timi Arkai Ghar Ko Manche, Aau Milli, Tadha, and Ek Patak.
Her acting debut came in 2010 with the film Swor, directed by Prasanna Poudel. Since then, Benisha has steadily established herself as a talented actress in the Nepali film industry. Some of her notable films include Jyaan Hajir Chha (2012), Mokshya (2014), and the critically acclaimed Blind Rocks (2018), for which she received a national award.
