Divya Dev is a Nepali theatre actor based in Kathmandu, known for his dedication to stage performance and his contribution to the contemporary Nepali theatre scene. He has been actively involved in theatre since 2010, developing his craft through diverse and challenging roles.Throughout his theatrical career, Divya Dev has worked extensively with American theatre director Dr. Deborah Merola. His stage repertoire includes several acclaimed British and American plays, showcasing his versatility as a performer. Some of his notable productions include Hamlet and Anna in the Tropics (2016), A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Golden Boy (2017), Same Time, Next Year (2018), and True West (2019).Alongside his work in theatre, Divya Dev has also expanded his career into Nepali cinema. He has been associated with feature films including Chiso Ashtray, Rudane, and Hijo Aaja Ka Kura. Through his work across both stage and film, he continues to build a distinctive presence in Nepal’s performing arts and entertainment industry.With years of experience, a diverse body of theatrical work, and growing involvement in cinema, Divya Dev represents a generation of Nepali performers bridging the worlds of theatre and film.
