Menuka Pradhan is a prominent and highly respected Nepali actress known for her remarkable versatility, expressive performances, and deep-rooted commitment to her craft. Born on July 23, 1993, in Gaindakot, Nawalpur, she began her journey in the world of media at a young age, appearing on local television while still in school. Her passion for acting led her to formal training at Actors’ Studio in Kathmandu, where she studied under the acclaimed theatre director Anup Baral. Menuka made her film debut with Ek Din Ek Raat and gradually rose to national fame through standout roles in popular and critically acclaimed films such as Resham Filili, Gajalu, Purano Dunga, Damaruko Dandibiyo, and the emotionally powerful Saili, for which she won the NEFTA Film Award for Best Actress in 2019. Beyond mainstream cinema, she has worked extensively in theater and appeared in numerous music videos, most notably the viral hit “Saili,” which showcased both her acting depth and cultural resonance.
