Raju Pariyar

Raju Pariyar is a very popular singer in the field of Nepali folk songs. He has given voice in thousands of songs. Hundreds of his songs are hits. Raju has contributed a lot to bring Nepali folk songs to the heights.
Pariyar was born on June 28, 1980, to Mangal Singh Pariyar and Santa Maya Pariyar in a Gurung hamlet in Chisapani, Lamjung district, Nepal. The Gurung community’s traditional music and social gathering, Rodhi, had a profound effect on him and helped to shape his musical sensibility.
Pariyar debuted on the music scene in Dohori Sajh. He used to sing in ‘Dobhan Dohori Sajha’ and ‘Pukar Dohori Sajha, where he met fellow musician Badri Pangeni and received important exposure. These encounters were crucial to his career since they gave him the chance to show off his skills and make connections with other musicians.
With a lot of help from Shanta Nepali, he recorded his debut song, “Kishimkotma Chari Nacheko,” at Reema Recording Studio, which was owned by another well-known Nepali singer, Narayan Rayamajhi, before passing the Sur Parikshya, which was broadcast on Radio Nepal.
