Shilpa Maskey

Shilpa Maskey is a talented Nepali actress, dancer, and model who has made a unique mark in both the national and international entertainment industries. Born on April 14, 1992, in Biratnagar, Nepal, she later moved to Kathmandu for her schooling and then to the United Kingdom for higher education. With formal training in classical dance forms like Odissi and Kathak from an early age, Shilpa developed a strong foundation in performance arts. Before stepping into the Nepali film industry, she gained international exposure by working as an extra in several major productions including Doctor Strange, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Gold (Bollywood), and the Netflix series The Crown. Her first lead role in Nepali cinema was in the 2019 film The Break Up, opposite Aashirman DS Joshi, which helped her gain significant recognition. She followed this with roles in films like Kagaz Patra, Sano Mann, Kathaputali, Fulbari, and the Indo-Nepali thriller Parastree.
