Sima Thapa is a talented and rising figure in Nepal’s folk and Dohori music industry, known for her powerful voice and dedication to both music and healthcare. Born on January 4, 2000 (20 Poush 2056 B.S.) in Musikot Municipality-6, Gulmi, she began singing at a young age, despite having no musical background in her family. After completing her SLC from Vidya Mandir School, Baglung, she pursued a medical career, working at Tilottama Hospital and Denish Clinic. Her passion for music reignited in Butwal, where she trained in classical vocals under Sarita Panthi. Moving to Kathmandu to study CMLT (Lab Technician) at the School of Medical Science, Sima embraced live Dohori, earning widespread acclaim through platforms like Sarangi Sansar and Indreni. Today, she stands as a dual force—an aspiring healthcare professional and a celebrated folk singer.
