In the 2015 teen romance Hostel Returns, Khadka made her acting debut and received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the National Film Awards.Films that were commercially successful came after this first success. She made her screen debut in the 2017 romance drama Love Love Love, which was well-reviewed by reviewers. In 2017, Khadka starred in the commercially successful social drama film Chhakka Panja 2, which made 60 million Nepalese rupees in its first six days of release, making it the second highest-grossing Nepali film ever.
