Kathmandu – Comedian Bharatmani Paudel once dreamed of becoming a soldier. During his childhood, there was an army barracks near his home, and seeing soldiers marching in rows on the street, he used to run behind them, imagining himself as part of their ranks. However, as he grew older, his interests gradually shifted toward mimicry and caricature. Eventually, he was offered a chance to work on a radio program.
He began participating in local programs and started showcasing his performances. Later, the radio station he was working for in Taplejung Radio Tamor expanded its branch to Kathmandu, and from that point onward, Bharatmani’s artistic journey truly began. He had now set his sights on becoming an artist.
While working at Radio Tamor, he started meeting established artists, and his passion for the entertainment field grew even stronger. This led him to compete in Comedy Champion, a popular comedy reality show, where he went on to win the title. That victory brought him widespread fame and recognition.
Today, he is a busy and in-demand performer, regularly appearing in events and comedy shows both in Nepal and abroad. Alongside his artistic career, he has also ventured into business by opening a café in Chabahil, Kathmandu.
