Kathmandu — A book focused on beauty-related knowledge and professional development was officially launched on Saturday at A One Café in Shankhamul, Kathmandu. Along with the book launch, a new beauty product named ‘Ava’ was also unveiled. The program was organized by Maya’s Beauty Parlour and Training Center.
The author stated that the book has been prepared with the aim of addressing misconceptions, misinformation, and the lack of basic knowledge in the beauty sector. Based on practical experience, the book is expected to guide students, trainees, and professionals in ethical practices, responsible service delivery, and long-term career development.
Popular actress and film director Jharana Thapa attended the event as the chief guest. Other guests included model Pavitra Saki (Miss Pavi) and actress Jharana Rishal.

On the same occasion, certificates were distributed to trainees who successfully completed their training from Maya’s Beauty Parlour and Training Center. According to the organizers, the certification recognizes their skills and professional competence.
The organizers expressed gratitude to all guests, trainers, partners, and participants for their support in making the program a success.
