Kathmandu – The posters for the upcoming Nepali film “Varishtha Balram” (Senior Balram), which is set to release on Bhai Tika during Tihar (Kartik 6), have been made public. Directed by Surendra Paudel, the film has released two official posters.
In the first poster, the film’s lead actors Dayahang Rai and Bijay Baral are featured prominently, along with several other cast members. Dayahang appears pensive, with only part of his face and body visible, while Bijay, with a stern and intense expression, seems to be observing someone critically.
Samriddhi Aryal is seen in the poster with a wide smile, showing her teeth. Alongside the main trio Dayahang, Bijay, and Samriddhi five other characters are also present. They appear to be chasing someone on three motorbikes, with one of the bikes driven by Bijay himself. Another bike is ridden by Pradeep Chaudhary, dressed in a Madhesi getup. This poster stirs curiosity about the storyline of the film.
The second poster features Dayahang and Bijay facing off against each other. It portrays a physical confrontation, suggesting a struggle for dominance or survival between the two. The image hints at a rivalry where each character wants to prove themselves as the “senior” by overpowering the other.
In the background, a highway and some tippers (dump trucks) can be seen, leading to speculation that the characters might be involved in the contracting business.
Set to release on Bhai Tika (Kartik 6), the film is currently in post-production. The cast of “Varishtha Balram” includes Dayahang Rai, Bijay Baral, Samriddhi Aryal, Pashupati Rai, Maotse Gurung, Bhola Raj Sapkota, Rambabu Regmi, and Pradeep Kumar Chaudhary (PK) among others.
