Kathmandu. The comedy television program “Comedy Darbar” has begun airing. Comedy Darbar’s first episode aired on Friday, August 30, marking the beginning of the show. OSR Digital and Prime Television will both air the program.
The inaugural episode features Dayahang Rai and Rekha Thapa, two superstars in the Nepali cinema industry, as guests. In just two days after its upload, it has received 6 lakh views on YouTube. Comedians Bikki Agarwal and Shraddha Prasai are the show’s directors.
The first episode seemed to have had a fairly positive reception. It appears from the audience’s writing that they finally had a nice laugh. Additionally, it appears that it was written that viewers watched the promo after a protracted delay.
The characters of ‘Maharani’ and ‘Maharaja’ in the show are played by Gauri Malla and Bijay Baral. Performers include CD Bijay Adhikari, Bikash Aryal, Himesh Panta, Pavitra Shaki (Miss Pabi), Pawan Khatiwada, Sundar Khanal, Sujata Shrestha, Utsav Sapkota, and others. The program is presented by Namrata Shrestha. Comedy Darbar’s media coordinator and guest manager is journalist Gopi Krishna Chapagain.
