Kathmandu: As the Teej season begins, veteran lyricist and composer Kastup Pant has released a new festive song, “Khali Bhayo Jeb,” featuring vocals by popular singer Elina Chauhan.
The song is written and composed by Pant, with music arrangement by Ramesh Century, mixing and mastering by Kumar Pun, and additional vocals by Ramji Khan. It was recorded at Maruni Digital Recording Studio by Khuman Rana and Suman Rana.
The music video stars Elina Rayamajhi and Parbati Shrestha, showcasing energetic dance performances. Directed by Smriti Timilsina ‘Guru Aama’, the video features cinematography by Karan Chaisir and editing by Binod Bam.
Centered on the dreams and wishes of a young woman praying to Lord Shiva during Teej, the song blends festive tradition with contemporary storytelling. The makers are optimistic that the collaboration between Elina Chauhan and Kastup Pant will resonate with audiences throughout this year’s Teej celebrations. The song is now available on YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, and other digital platforms.
