
Kathmandu — The film Taraaharu, scheduled to be released publicly from Bhadra 6 (August 22), has passed the censor board. The Film Censor Board has granted the film a Universal Certificate.
Directed by Ashant Sharma, the film also features Sharma himself in the lead role, along with actors Menuka Pradhan, Kundun Shakya, Meera Khadka, Prabhakar Neupane, Abhash Adhikari, Raj Pangeni Sharma, Pramod Babu, and Bikash Khanal.
Taraaharu is based on the story of a middle-class family. Presented in a dark comedy style, the film narrates its story in an entertaining way. While the core narrative revolves around a husband and wife, it also includes the perspectives of teenagers, making it an engaging and inspiring film suitable for viewers of all ages and backgrounds, according to the filmmakers.
