Kathmandu — The first song of the upcoming Nepali film Shree Bukuro: The Home Calling has been released ahead of its theatrical premiere on Falgun 1, 2082 (February 13, 2026), coinciding with Maha Shivaratri. The song was unveiled on the occasion of Basant Panchami through the official YouTube channel of the production company Film Range.
Titled “Ghar Mero Sano Bukuro”, the soulful track is expected to touch audiences’ hearts, according to director Sudeep Bhupal Singh. The song features lyrics by Singh, music by Ranjit Gajmer, and vocals by Shiv Pariyar, and depicts the journey of the film’s main characters, Arshibad Kshetri and Laxmi Giri, traveling from the city back to their village.
Singh said the song captures the essence of a family-oriented, emotionally engaging story, marking his return to direction after seven years. He previously directed Mala and Rudra Priya.
The film is produced by Ruby Sen Singh under the Film Range banner and stars Arshibad Kshetri, Laxmi Giri, Nikita Acharya, Pratikraj Acharya, Roshani Karki, Rajan Ishan, Deepika Thapa, among others.
Filming took place across Mustang, Baglung, Kaski, Damauli, Makwanpur, and Kathmandu. The song features additional music contributions from Basanta Sapkota and Vikram Karki and vocals by Vishesh Paudel, Yukti Bimli, Savin Subedi, and Sandesh Paudel.
Director Singh expressed confidence that audiences will appreciate the film’s purely family-oriented narrative and heartfelt entertainment, as hinted by the previously released teaser and posters.
