Kathmandu. The typical and cultural folk duet song “Gharma Mahuri” has been released, featuring popular singer Madan Dhakal and well-known folk singer Shanti Shree Pariyar. The song has started receiving positive responses from audiences shortly after its release.

The music video features Madan Dhakal along with Badri Sapkota, Juna Gurung, and Sunisha Bajgai. In the video, the artists are seen performing in traditional Magar attire, presenting a lively rodhi-style cultural performance.

The lyrics and music of the song are composed by Badri Sapkota, while the video is directed by Jerry Bhandari. The entire video has been shot in Kathmandu, showcasing rich folk traditions and cultural expressions.

Singer Madan Dhakal shared that working with Shanti Shree Pariyar was a memorable experience. He also expressed that the overall shooting environment was comfortable and enjoyable due to the supportive behavior and professionalism of the team.

Dhakal, who began his musical journey in 2006, has lent his voice to around a dozen and a half songs so far. Although he initially aspired to become an engineer and later worked in auditing, he has remained deeply connected to music throughout his life.

He has also expressed interest in entering the film industry in the future. Additionally, he revealed his long-standing wish to collaborate with popular folk singer Bishnu Majhi.

The song “Gharma Mahuri” has been released through the TM Music Production YouTube channel and is already gaining positive feedback from viewers.
