
Kathmandu — Two new Nepali films, Sitamol and Mohar, have been released today, Friday.
Sitamol is based on the story of a wounded individual during the armed people’s war and features actors such as Saugat Malla. Similarly, Mohar is based on the tradition of Deuki, written by Om Pratik, and stars Pal Shah and Niti Shah.
Sitamol is directed by Raj Bahadur Sane. The film stars Saugat Malla, Benisha Hamal, Shree Krishna Niraula, Januka Bishwakarma, Pawan Bhattarai, among others.
Likewise, Mohar is a film based on the Deuki tradition. Produced under the banner of Filmmakers Pvt. Ltd., it is written and directed by Om Pratik. The cast includes Pal Shah, Niti Shah, Benisha Hamal, Sara Sharma, Rabindra Jha, and others. Two of Benisha Hamal’s films have been released simultaneously starting today.
