Kathmandu — The film Harsha, set to release nationwide from Mangsir 12, has reached Chitwan for promotional activities. Chitwan is also the hometown of the director, Ekta Paudel. For this reason, she is extensively promoting the film in Chitwan, visiting various schools, colleges, and fairs.

This morning, the film team held a press meet in Chitwan. After that, they visited Glorious Academy School to provide students with information about the film. Today, the team will also attend the Sports and Grand Trade Festival 2082 to interact with the audience.

Director Ekta Paudel, actors Barsha Raut, Santosh Pant, Simon Wadi, and choreographer Sunil Kshetri, among others, have reached Chitwan to share information about the film.

At the press meet, debut director Ekta Paudel mentioned that being a daughter of Chitwan, she expects Harsha to be loved by the people of Chitwan. She added, “I have worked very hard to make this film, and I hope to receive everyone’s support and encouragement.” The lead actress, Barsha Raut, expressed her belief that since Harsha is a family-oriented film, everyone will enjoy it.

Actor Santosh Pant requested the audience to support the film, emphasizing that a female director has worked hard to create a beautiful film. Choreographer Sunil Kshetri stated that the film is well-made, and he is present at today’s festival in Chitwan to present a special performance.

Harsha was entirely shot in Chitwan. Director Ekta Paudel is the niece of the late director Shiv Regmi. She studied filmmaking at the New York Film Academy and holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and a master’s in management and leadership. She has also previously produced several short films.

The film stars Khagendra, Barsha Raut, Nir Shah, Santosh Pant, Sharmila Malla, Maotse Gurung, Vishal Pahadi, Nima Pandey, Luniva Tuladhar, Anshu Maharjan, Renu Pradhan, Suvarna Thapa, Shrishti Maharjan, Sirjana Napit, and child actor Simon Wadi.

The cinematography is by Alok Shukla, music by Sameer, Himal, Basant Sapkota, and Elish Karka, editing by Lokesh Bajracharya, and choreography by Sunil Kshetri and director Ekta Paudel.

Produced under the banners of Ashtalakshmi Productions and E-Prime Movies, the story of the film is by director Ekta Paudel herself. Prashanna Paudel and Bikash Paudel are producers, Hikmat Chokhal is the executive producer, Ishwar Ghimire is the production manager, and Kuldeep Sharma is the chief assistant director.
