
Kathmandu — The Film Development Board has announced that it will honor the 25 highest-grossing Nepali films from the past 25 years. In a press release issued on Sunday, the board stated that it will recognize films that earned the highest revenue between Asar 16, 2057 B.S. (June/July 2000) and the end of Jestha 2082 B.S. (May/June 2025).
To qualify, producers of films that have earned more than 50 million rupees (5 crore) must submit an application to the board within 7 days, along with official documents proving the earnings.
The honors will be presented during the 25th anniversary celebration of the Film Development Board, scheduled to take place on Asar 16 (around June 30, 2025).
