Kathmandu — The team of the movie Jante Bakhro has embarked on a promotional tour outside the Kathmandu Valley. The film unit has reached Dang and Nepalgunj, where they interacted with audiences. The movie has been receiving strong support from viewers in these regional areas.

According to the production team, the film has been performing well in most parts of western Nepal. The producers reported particularly good box office returns in Dang, Nepalgunj, and Dhangadhi.

Directed by Simosh Sunuwar, the film features performances by Saugat Malla, Garima Sharma, Asif Shah, Rama Thapaliya, Lokendra Lekhak, Kamal Devkota, Bishal Pahadi, Rusha Neupane, Kusum Sharma, Sneha Joshi, Samapika Gautam, Kushal Gajmer, among others.

Presented by Muin Entertainment, Jante Bakhro is a social comedy. The story, screenplay, and dialogue were written by Pradeep Bhardwaj, and the film is produced by Santosh Gautam. In Nepali society, Jante Bakhro refers to the goat that is served during the feast for the wedding guests (Janti) on the bride’s welcoming day. The film’s plot is centered around this cultural tradition.
