Kathmandu – The teaser of the film “Jerry on Top”, which was released this past Monday, has received an overwhelmingly positive response. Gaining massive popularity on social media right after its release, the teaser has already been viewed over 1.5 million times on the Budha Subba Digital YouTube channel alone.
On YouTube, “Jerry on Top Teaser” has secured the top spot on Nepal’s trending list for movie trailers and has also ranked prominently on the “Movies Trending Chart” in more than a dozen other countries. The craze seen abroad for the teaser indicates promising prospects for the film’s international market.
Dozens of teaser reviews and reaction videos shared across social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook have described the film as “highly anticipated.” Audiences have highly praised the film’s visuals, acting performances, background music, and VFX all tied to a storyline that connects with the theme of Mount Everest expedition.
Presented by Saroj Neupane and directed by Suyog Gurung, the film is scheduled for public release on Asoj 31 (Nepali calendar).
“Jerry on Top” stars some of the most popular and successful youth actors, including Anmol KC, Aanchal Sharma, Jassita Gurung, Kedar Ghimire ‘Magne Buda’, Bhuwan KC, Usha Upreti, and Suharsha Pant in lead roles. Actor Anmol KC has expressed his gratitude, sharing his happiness for the love and support received from fans and well-wishers.
The story of the film is written by Hemraj BC. The music is composed by Kali Prasad Baskota, Jayan J Waiba, Johan Chamling Rai, and Brijesh Shrestha. The screenplay is by Bishwas Timilsina, and cinematography is handled by Dulip Regmi.
The distribution rights for Nepal have been acquired by Reecha Entertainment and FD Company. With a high production budget and a frontline star cast, “Jerry on Top” is regarded as one of the most anticipated films of the year.
