‘Kakakiki’ Title Song Released, Featuring Vocals by Arjun Sapkota and Melina Rai

Kathmandu: The title song of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Kakakiki’, scheduled to hit theaters from Bhadra 19 (September 4), has been released. The song was unveiled on the OSR Digital YouTube channel on Wednesday.

The song features the vocals of Arjun Sapkota and Melina Rai, with Sapkota composing the music and hook line. The lyrics have been penned by Santosh Sapkota.

Set against the backdrop of a village celebration, the song’s music video captures a lively and festive atmosphere. It features actors Gauri Malla, Tripti Nadkar, Rekha Thapa, Mahesh Tripathi, Prakash Ghimire, Khadga Bahadur Pun Magar, among others.

Singer Arjun Sapkota also appears in the video, performing alongside Pabitra Shaki (Miss Pabi), Sajina Khanal and Nischal Khadka. The choreography has been done by Migme D. Lepcha.

The song has received positive responses from viewers shortly after its release. Many viewers have praised the song and expressed their excitement to watch the film in theaters.

According to director Bicky Agarwal, the song reflects the rural setting and celebratory atmosphere of the film and is closely connected to its storyline. The production team believes the song’s release will further increase audience curiosity about the movie.

‘Kakakiki’ features Diya Maskey, Shishir Wangdel, Subash Gajurel, Rear Rai, Pawan Khatiwada, Maotse Gurung, Manoj Gajurel, Mukunda Mainali, Rambabu Regmi, CD Vijay Adhikari, Saroj Bhandari, Srijana Shrestha, Bishwas Timalsina, Alisha Bhog, Subarna Thapa and Kamal Devkota, among others.

The film is shot by Sudip Baral, while the screenplay has been written by director Agarwal in collaboration with Saroj Bhandari and Bikash Aryal. Produced by Shraddha Prasai and Sumitra Thapa, ‘Kakakiki’ will be released nationwide from September 4.
