Kathmandu – After a long break from the Nepali music scene, singer Laxmi Acharya has made her comeback with a new song titled “Laga Laga Jorka Jhatka,” released through her official YouTube channel.
The song is sung by Laxmi alongside Bishal Soni, who also composed the music. The lyrics are penned by Netra Aryal, while HBN Kismat handled the music arrangement.
The music video stars popular actor Paul Shah, whose energetic dance performance is one of its major highlights. He is joined by debut model Mandira Raigai, with Laxmi Acharya also appearing in the video.
Mandira, who gained attention after a viral video showed her dancing in front of the stage during the Damauli Festival before being invited onstage by Paul Shah, fulfills her dream of appearing in a music video through this project. According to Paul, Mandira was cast in coordination with singers Laxmi and Bishal.
Directed and choreographed by Mausam Himali, the video blends a rural setting with a modern visual style. It features cinematography by Navaraj Upreti and editing by Manoj Karki, with artistic use of tractors and natural landscapes adding to its visual appeal.
Laxmi Acharya is known for hit songs such as “Ae Meri Bhauju,” “Kalo Tiko,” and “Nauli Hadel.”
