Kathmandu – Laxmi Bardewa has acted in more than 70 music videos. She has also directed around four dozen music videos. She has experience acting in over a dozen stage plays, and an equal number of films featuring her performances have been released. Today, she is a well-established artist, but she had to go through a long struggle to reach this point.
In the early days of her career, she worked as a background dancer. After becoming a background dancer, her interest in the film industry began to grow. Laxmi is a third-batch student of Mandala Theatre. After learning acting at Mandala, she says she never had to look back. Once she got the opportunity to work in radio dramas, her financial situation became more stable, allowing her to fully dedicate herself to acting.
Her natural and organic acting has also been widely appreciated. After completing her training at Mandala, she became increasingly busy with stage plays. After nearly four years in theater, she received an offer for the film Gham Pani, which was released in 2017. Since then, she has been fully immersed in the field. As her involvement in films grew, she also began working in music videos, both as an actor and director.
