Kathmandu. Kedar Prasad Ghimire, popularly known as Magne Budha, says he has become fearful of money. Lately, he has been linked to a figure of 6.1 million rupees (NPR), and at one point, he was even close to being dragged into controversy. These days, if any journalist brings up money-related questions, he quickly deflects, saying, “Let’s talk about something else.” Simply put, he doesn’t want to talk about the money he has received or given.

Amid the buzz surrounding the 6.1 million rupees, he has already provided financial assistance amounting to around 75,000 rupees. This includes 51,000 rupees to actress Sita Subedi, who is battling cancer, and 25,000 rupees as a donation to the Pashupati Mahayagya.

Magne Budha’s new film, Magne Raja, is set to release on Bhadra 6 (August 22). Along with the film’s release, the buzz around him is growing as well. Known for playing similar comedic roles, this time he will be seen in a different character, which could be refreshing and exciting for his fans.
