Singer Milan Newar has clarified that her recently released song “Ghintang Ghintang Madalu” was not created for any political purpose. The song, performed by Newar along with the Top 6 contestants of The Voice of Kids Season 5, was released a few days ago and carries a message centered on patriotism, identity, and responsibility toward the motherland.

After the song’s release, some lyrics, particularly the line “Timile Matolai Chinema” (“If you recognize the soil”), sparked debate on social media. Posts on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram claimed that Newar was expressing support for Harka Sampang’s Shram Sanskriti Party through the song.

Responding to the controversy, Newar said the song was intended to inspire her young contestants and help nurture their talent while delivering a positive social message.
