Kathmandu — 29 women are going to compete in ‘Mrs Nepal World 2024‘. Last Friday, the finalists were announced at the SASH distribution program. This pageant is being organized by Ribbon Entertainment.
The categories of contestants showcase the talents and backgrounds of Pragati Shrestha, Jyoti Sharma, Shushila Dahal, Anu Karki, and many more. The contest promises to not only showcase beauty but also highlight the unique stories and them of these women helping their community also.
The grand finale is scheduled to be held on October 26 (Kartik 10, 2081) at Nepal Pragya Pratishthan, where the winner will get the top chance to represent Nepal in the international Mrs. World pageant to be held in the US. Nishukant Jha, president of Ribbon Entertainment, expressed enthusiasm, stressing the importance of the program in empowering married women.
This year’s competition will feature choreography by Ashwini Jha, The event aims to celebrate the strengths and achievements of women in Nepal.
Popular actors Dhiren Shakya, Jitu Nepal, Gajit Bista and Himesh Pant were prominent figures at the sash distribution event, along with local business leaders like Tikaram Budhathoki of Shree Kesh Hair Oil and Raj Karki, director of Suit Mala. Journalists Bidur Giri, Dabbu Chhetri, Gopi Krishna Chapagain and Shyamhari Shibahakti were also present.
As the countdown to the finals begins, excitement is building among contestants and sponsors alike, marking another important chapter in the celebration of femininity in Nepal.
