Kathmandu – A new poster of the film ‘Paran’, directed by Deepak Prasad Acharya (Kaku), has been released. The poster, made public on Monday, prominently features veteran actor Neer Shah.
While previous posters showcased actor Mahesh Tripathi and actress Anjana Baraili, this time the focus is solely on Neer Shah. In the poster, he is seen blowing a conch shell, with a serious and experienced expression clearly visible on his face.
This scene hints at the possibility that the film’s story holds significant elements of religion, culture, or traditional rituals. The poster has sparked various speculations about Neer Shah’s role and the storyline of the film. However, the production team has yet to reveal any details about the plot. The tagline of Paran, “Chalne saasle hoina, saathle” (“Driven not by breath, but by companionship”), suggests that the film emphasizes the importance of support and togetherness.
It can be inferred that the film likely explores deep emotional themes and the intricacies of human relationships. With an experienced actor like Neer Shah in a central role, Paran is expected to offer a strong narrative and powerful performances.
Paran is produced by Bioscope Cinema Pvt. Ltd., a company formed through a collaboration between Nepal’s reputed business groups – the Golchha Group and the Prisma Group. This marks the first project under the sole banner of Bioscope Cinema, according to its managing director, Ranjit Acharya. The story is written by director Deepak Acharya himself, with screenplay and dialogue by Yam Thapa.
Alongside veteran actor Neer Shah, the film stars Mahesh Tripathi, Anjana Baraili, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Pooja Chand, Keki Adhikari, Praveen Khatiwada, Buddhi Tamang, Yaseli Yonghang, Babin Rai, Pushparaj Ojha, Seema Kafle, Daman Rupakheti, Yaman Shrestha, Subrata Raj Acharya, Suresh Thapa, Binod Rai, and child actor Aryadeep Acharya.
The songs in the film feature lyrics by director Deepak Acharya and music by Rhythm Kandel, with vocals by Pramod Kharel, Pushpan Pradhan, and Rachana Rimal, among others.
Anish Adhikari and Samar Chaulagai are the production managers, while Ajay Upadhyay serves as the executive producer. The film’s cinematography is by Shivaram Shrestha, and editing by Mitra D. Gurung. Sunil Chhetri has handled the choreography.
‘Paran’ is set to be released in cinemas across the country from Kartik 14 (October 31), right after Dashain and Tihar festivals. The production team is also preparing to release one of the film’s songs on the eve of Phulpati, a major day in the Dashain festival.
