Nikhil Upreti and Barsha Siwakoti’s film Kasturi goes on floors in Kathmandu

Kathmandu – The Nepali film Kasturi, starring Nikhil Upreti and Barsha Siwakoti in the lead roles, has officially gone on floors.

The film’s auspicious launch ceremony was held on Tuesday morning at Bangalamukhi Temple in Lalitpur, followed by the start of shooting. Director Rit Bohora confirmed that filming has begun and said that most of the shoot will take place in and around Kathmandu.

According to the director, Kasturi explores deep layers of mystery, suspense and crime. The film also marks the first on-screen collaboration between Nikhil Upreti and Barsha Siwakoti.

The cast includes Shekhar Chapagain, Nirmal Sharma, Nisha Adhikari, Arjun Gurung, Bholaraj Sapkota, Sabi Thapa, Prashant KC, Santosh Baniya, Subash Banjan, Meera Pandit, Ghanshyam Joshi, Shreya Shrestha, Pratistha Thapa and Neha Gautam, with Gaurav Pahari and Hena Nagarkoti appearing in special roles.

Produced under the banner of Ten Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the film is written and directed by Rit Bohora. Dhiraj Kumar Agrawal is the producer, while Anjali Chaudhary serves as co-producer. The cinematography is by Alok Shukla, music by Prashant Siwakoti, and production management is handled by Dilip Pant.
