Kathmandu — The Nepali film “Abhimanyu: Chapter 1”, whose release date had been postponed multiple times, is finally set to hit theaters from Mangsir 18. The production team has stated that audiences will be able to watch the film from this date after several delays caused by various reasons.

In this context, the makers have unveiled a new poster of the film today. The poster features most of the cast members including Kameshwor Chaurasiya, Laxmi Bardewa, Kiran Shrestha, Sarita Giri, Shishir Bangdel, Gaumaya Gurung, Prakash Dahal, among others.

All the actors appear in their character looks. Kameshwor is seen with a bicycle, while the other actors are shown in their respective character portrayals. The poster clearly reveals what kind of appearance each actor has in the movie.

Presented by Seven Seas Cinema, the film has been made in both Nepali and Hindi languages and will be released across Nepal as well as India and worldwide. The makers claim that the movie is strong in both technical aspects and storytelling. Set in the Terai region, the film hints at portraying a Terai-based story, which is evident from the looks of lead actors Kameshwor and Laxmi.

Directed by Sushant Gautam, “Abhimanyu: Chapter 1” has Madan Thapa as the creative director. The film is written by Mukesh Khanal. The producers are Binod Paudel and Gunjan Giri, while Ramesh Chaulagain and Hari Shrestha serve as co-producers. The executive producers include Bishal Lama, Hari Moktan, Krishna Bhattarai, Nirajan Luintel, and Sandesh Shrestha. The line producer is Jeevan Shakya.

With cinematography by Sharad Mahato, the film features VFX by Manoj Shrestha, color grading by Junim Gahtoraj, and editing by Madan Ghimire.
