Kathmandu: On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, the devotional song “Mata Bindhyabasini” from the movie Mayavi, which is set to release on Falgun 14, has been made public. Sung and composed by SD Yogi, the song features lyrics by Ram Aviral Bista.
The music video stars the lead actors of the film, including actor Paul Shah, actresses Deepika Prasai and Karishma Shrestha, and actor Sushil Sitoula, among others. The song was filmed at the Bindhyabasini Temple.
Written and directed by Diwakar Bhattarai, it stars Paul Shah, Deepika Prasai, Prashant Tamrakar, Sushil Sitoula, Karishma Shrestha, Laxmi Giri, Anshu Maharjan, Rajaram Paudel, Ravi Dangol, Rama Prasai, Dipendra Simkhada, and Sangita Silwal, along with newcomer actor Samim Khan in the leading role.
The cinematography for the film is done by Raju Bikram Thapa, while the editing has been handled by Milan Shrestha. Dhruva Nyaupane, Raj Katuwal, and Chandra Pant produced it, and its co-producers are Raju Parajuli and Sumit Wali. Executive producers are Prabin Bhattarai and Karan Singh, while Nem Maharjan has also sponsored the film on behalf of Creative Cine Arts.
