Kathmandu — Singer, actor, and producer Prakash Saput is now preparing to venture into business. Having already fulfilled his personal aspirations, Prakash Saput has established himself as a well-known artist, and at present, he has expressed plans to start a business. Saput said, “I have fulfilled all my dreams. Now, I want to start a business that will provide jobs for many Nepali brothers and sisters.”
Known for leaving a unique mark in folk music, Prakash has recently been busy with films. His popular songs include Galbandi, Timro Mayale Malai Pir Diyō, Kura Bujhna Parch, Sakambari, and Damai Maharaj, among many others. His songs often carry strong social awareness messages. In contemporary Nepali folk music, he is one of the few singers whose almost every song becomes popular.
All of his new songs are original in style. After his song Galbandi, it can be said that a new chapter began in Nepali folk music. Prakash was born in Dhamja, Baglung. Since childhood, he loved singing and dancing at local village programs.
