Butwal. The publicity campaign of the Nepali feature film “Bigul”, which is set for nationwide release from Falgun 1, officially began from Butwal. The campaign was launched during a special event organized in collaboration with Butwal Jaycees, in the presence of producer Dinesh Koirala, director Ramesh Koirala and actor Naren Khadka.
The event was attended by Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City Mayor Khelraj Pandey, Jaycees representatives and local intellectuals. After watching the film’s trailer and musical sequences, Mayor Pandey praised the film for closely portraying the current socio-political situation, stating that it is a must-watch for youth, families and political leaders alike. Jaycees members also shared positive feedback, noting that the film challenges youth thinking and leadership.
Producer Dinesh Koirala informed that the film’s online booking will open on Magh 28 and 29. Director Ramesh Koirala said the film reflects the realities of society, with significant effort invested in its storyline, performances and cinematography. Actor Naren Khadka expressed confidence that Bigul will present a realistic picture of society in the election atmosphere and bring a new perspective to Nepali cinema.
Produced under the banner of Magnolia Group, the film features Benisha, Naren Khadka, Neer Shah, Saroj Khanal, Shishir Wangdel and other prominent actors. The film has a screenplay and dialogues by Pradeep Bhardwaj and Maunata Shrestha, cinematography by Shiv Dhakal, choreography by Kamal Rai and Kabiraj Gahatraj, editing by Tara Thapa Kimbhe, and music by Bishwaprakash Sharma, Arjun Pokharel and Manoj Chaulagain. Bigul will be distributed by Kafiya Films in the Kathmandu Valley and by Shree Banquets Entertainment outside the Valley.
